Introduction

Hi, Im Shi En, I am currently doing Mechatronics in Temasek Polytechnic, in semester 3.2. I enjoy Judo and have been doing the sport for 3 years to date. When I entered Temasek Polytechnic, the first CCA I joined was Judo Club. I prefer Judo over other martial arts like Taekwondo and Muay Thai because every training there is sparring in a safe setting. I get to try out new techniques recently learnt or tricks I thought to see if they work. I like movies and I visit websites such as IMDB(Internet Movie Data Base)  to check out on the current movies and which are worth watching in the cinema.

In the future after I graduate from TP, I wish to work as a researcher in DSO. As a good grade is required to get accepted, i stayed away from killer CDS subjects like psychology or understanding art although I thought they are interesting.  I picked EIR because I felt it would be very relevant to my future work as a researcher. Although EIR may not be as easy as other CDS subjects, I would be willing to work at it and learn what the subject has to offer.
